as far as i can tell - i've had somewhat of 11 layouts, this is kind of a half. i'm too attached to "scream of the butterfly" to change that motif just yet, but i wanted something to celebrate "may". thus what you're seeing now.

*sputter* rough evening @_@ if the rather morose coloration is any indication...my mood did eventually crash last night but it politely waited until three in the morning, after i'd made myself happily busy for most of the day, buzzing around listening to the raveonettes. "chain gang of love" is a marvelous little album and the two members (it's another boy & girl thing) are very charming in a black comedy sort of way...the video for the song-of-the-day is essentially them trying to kill one another through various murderous mediums: poison, smothering, being thrown from cars...wonderful little band. and the songs are really cute and catchy, even when they're singing about kinky sex.

i think they're my new heros ^-^ or a definite addition to the long list...
