my day was made very novel and delightful by clare and these things called "forever roses", really ghetto looking crystal and metal roses from the hecht's home department. i got them and a metal jewelry box for $8 each! and they're really interesting and antique-looking. very awesome.
i'm still a blithering bucket of lust! but clare made me feel much better about it by being an even worse, even more blithering lust-bucket. i can always count on her for this, and i'm going to send her a drawing of the mutual object right now...
