currently listening to: "lie in the sound" by trespassers william

gave my obscure object of desire the poem i wrote for him today. i left it on his door. he came into the studio and said, "please stay in touch with me" and wants to write me a letter of recommendation! he GAVE ME oil paints and paper! i am swoony and overwhelmed and ready to go home. i am glad it made him happy. that is what i wanted. i am so excited to continue to be in touch with him. and to be done with school.

yesterday the fiction professor took the class out for drinks and i got tanked. six gin & tonics and a guiness. more than enough. i am not superhuman. i went home and fell flat asleep and woke up at midnight perfectly fine, watched "M" and chilled out. in and around my nap i listened to the bell jar audiobook, which made for a fascinating experience. my roommate was wigging out while i was asleep and didn't turn it off. we had a lot to talk about when i woke up.

i want to buy her a drink. she is having a hard time. ohhh everybody is ready to leave.
