if you need to leave the world you live in
lay your head down and stay awhile
though you may not remember dreaming
something waits for you breathe again
the first three chapters of "angels in america" were on HBO last night, and the rest is on this sunday. i'm quite riveted. rolling stone listed it as the #10 movie of the year, under american splendor, big fish, and kill bill. tres tres happy to see a little bit of artistic gratification in a magazine that slapped justin timberlake's scowling mug on the cover.
i ripped a pj harvey interview out of a '93 rolling stone (with soul asylum on the cover) at school today. gone are the days of interesting music, hello...oh hey look it's evanescence!
i know what you're thinking and STOP IT NOW!!!. i'm on a small kick today thanks to art class, which is something of evanescence fans anonymous. so far most of this week has consisted of little mini kicks. gaah...i need something new to suck the life out of. perhaps i should begin watching daytime television. i'm one of those peculiar individuals who possess a knack for keeping track of twisted soap plots.
whoa, bask in the psychicness...
|you are lavender|
Your dominant hue is blue, making you a good friend who people love and trust. You're good in social situations and want to fit in. Just be careful not to compromise who you are to make them happy.
Your saturation level is very low - you have better things to do than jump headfirst into every little project. You make sure your actions are going to really accomplish something before you start because you hate wasting energy making everyone else think you're working.
Your outlook on life is bright. You see good things in situations where others may not be able to, and it frustrates you to see them get down on everything.

do you know who's cool? paul. this may seem a bit odd coming from me, who's taken to frequently biting the boy and calling him weird names, but he knows i love him dearly, and i had know idea how much i really needed to hear understanding words from someone like him. and ryan! kind of weird when someone, if only for a short bit, salves a wound that's been gaping for a few years. you know it's not going to tottally fix things but it's such a relief that you're jumping around acting like you were never hurt in the first place.
really stupid, but really nice when it happens. and i'm still jumping around.R.I.P.
