HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BETHANYYY and she's gonna be a SENIOR.

i saw "twin peaks: fire walk with me" the other night. i needed david lynch back in my life. what could be more morbidly engaging than the last seven days of laura palmer? the midget man speaking in backwards loops? even more kyle mclaughlin (he's in everything i've seen this week)?! after i was done with that i watched "capturing the friedmans".

whoosh.

no documentary could ever take the place of "just, melvin - JUST EVIL" in my heart, but that was a fine cinematic excercise in guilt vs. innocence. it was unbiased for the most part, with just straight facts arranged in an effective, entertaining manner, though sometimes the boys dug a little hole for themselves as far as portrayal goes, the testimonies didn't smack of honesty any more than their sometimes cloying inerviews. but there was a balance of fault there enough so that it was all a big, interesting question.

"fire walk with me" edges out for the midget, though. i love how his head makes a cameo in "mulholland drive".

if anybody should ask i'm going to a seminar

anybody can be just like me, obviously.
not too many can be like you, fortunately.
