leelee visited today! i had dinner with her and bought the price of salt by patricia highsmith, the art lover by carole maso, never breathe a word by caroline blackwood, and rough magic by paul alexander (on sylvia plath) for easter. it made me anticipate graduation even more and i am all ready anticipating it a great deal.

tomorrow i'm going out with amanda. tonight i am working on my form & theory paper. i am going to sit with my notebook and watch "the godfather" and write down what i mean by the instability of the female "i", which the fiction professor would like me to spend a significant amount of time on because, quoth, "you fly."
