i used to feel lazy when i'd sleep all day until i began to realize how much work i do all night. i've invested two notebook's worth of ideas into my summer writing insomniac bootcamp thing. two straight days of concentration
hurts. i bought kubrick's "lolita" today. he wasn't very good in school, and he liked chess.
there is hope.
"eyes wide shut" is 20$, still. on vhs (nudity is expensive...?!). if indeed the entertainment gods discontinue vhs-ing, they ought to lower that price for me. really. i own it for free. come on, i'm willing to pay for my copy, all i'm asking is that - come on, i got "lolita" for 4.99$, i think you can do better than 20$. maybe 9.99$. i'd do 9.99$. can we talk?
THINGS TO BE DONE
re-read fight club. a long time ago somebody told me to read it and that it was better than the movie. i saw the movie first, then read the book, and it never sat comfortably with me. i want to give it another try.
job. job. iii needs a job.
buy black ink. i need to print out my list of desired films. if anybody's out there and they happen upon this, recommend me something graphic and obscure and i'll give you tons of pleasant karma (it's great for the complexion and lightly scented of mangos).
this is remarkable. must re-read this.if anybody should ask i'm going to a seminar
