i love winter. i waited all summer for winter again. anytime i mentioned this to someone they became all puzzled and asked "why? didn't last winter suck?!", and it's true that i was feeling really terrible last winter, but it wasn't because of the winter. all of my best memories of that span of time are linked to it - like the time kara, clare, paul, ryan and i were waiting to get into applebee's when it was snowing and all the booths were full, and kara, clare and ryan ran over to a store to look at something and paul sang "i believe in a thing called love" while we stayed and waited for a table. and when there was a snow day and clare, ryan & i walked to his house in the blizzard. and i watched "eyes wide shut" everyday before leaving the house...

...*le sigh* i just bought gloves. i'm so excited!
